Where did it start?
After years inside EPCM, owner, and consulting environments, Steven Matschke founded MatchKey Industrial to solve a recurring problem.

With 15+ years across brownfield and greenfield industrial projects, he combines delivery leadership, digital systems, and hands-on engineering coordination to help projects move faster—and help facilities operate with better data and more reliable handover.
Our Brand, Logo, and Strategy
MatchKey started with our founder’s name—and became a symbol for what we do: ignite delivery and unlock long-term asset value. The name is also dedicated to Steven’s father, whose entrepreneurial plans inspired the legacy behind MatchKey.
Our logo pairs a match and a key; the match is the spark – starting momentum, ideation, alignment, and execution when projects need to move. The key is what unlocks lasting value – clean handover, trusted data, and operations-ready systems.
Together they represent what we do: bridge project delivery and facility operations with practical workflows, interoperable information, and engineering support.
